18 -- Sisters of the Traveling Plants present "Flowers with a Western Flair" at the
Anastasia Branch Library, I:00PM. This program is free to everyone and sponsored by the
Friends of the Library. The theme of the presentation is in conjunction with the reading of
20 -- Table Design Workshop. A workshop for all garden club members to discuss Table Design
will be presented by Elli Steiger at 11:00 am at the Garden Center. If you've ever been
tempted to enter the flower show but were not sure of what was expected, please come to
this demonstration of Table Designs. Elli will have examples of different table designs and
can answer any questions you may have. Table designs are a fun and easy way to enter a

18 -- Environmental Committee Children's Program hosts a program for 6 to 12 year old on the "Trash to Treasure". Garden Center at 10:AM.
"The Garden Club of St. Augustine will present an educational, fun Recycling environmental program for children ages 6 to 12.
Children will learn the importance of identifying materials to be recycled or reused in an interactive education/discussion period followed by
making of crafts from recycled materials to take home. Coloring books, a book on recycling and a plant and planter from a soda bottle to
take home will be provided. All free of charge. Parent must accompany child/children".

9 -- In conjunction with the Downton Abbey exhibit being hosted by the Lightner Museum from October through January (2018)
the Garden Club will pair floral design vignettes with the exhibits on display. This evening is a "thank You" to the Garden Club.
All members are welcome to enjoy the exhibit at no charge.
